Which buyer prompts should you test in each market?

This free local AI prompt kit writes buyer prompts for each market you choose, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, the UAE or any city, across the buying journey from learning to deciding. Run them yourself each week to see where AI answers name you and where they do not. It runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.

The prompts feed the AI answer tracker, and extend the twelve prompts in the AI visibility check. Last reviewed 2 November 2026.

Part 1

Use the tool

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent anywhere.

1. Which category and markets do you want prompts for?

Choose the markets your buyers are in. The kit writes prompts for each one, so you can see how AI answers change by place. Each build uses one of your free tool runs.

Which markets do your buyers search from?

Part 2

How it works, how to read it, and its limits

The method, what the result means, how it differs from other tools, and what it cannot do.

2. What does the kit build?

For each market it writes prompts across the buying journey: learn, compare, shortlist, remote fit, cost, proof and, if you give a brand, decide.

Prompt stages in the kit
StageWhat the prompt asksOutcome it mainly tests
LearnWhat to look for when choosingExplanatory pages that get used
CompareThe leading options for a business in the marketWhether you are named in comparisons
ShortlistBest option, and who to hireMentions and recommendations
Remote fitWhether a provider in another country can serve the marketFit for buyers who hire across borders
CostWhat it costs for a business therePages that state a range
ProofWhich options show the strongest proofEvidence and case detail
DecideWhether your brand is a good choice thereRecommendation and sentiment

3. Why write prompts for each market?

Because an assistant answers for the place it is told about, so one prompt with no location hides how you appear in each market.

  • Local and market wording changes which providers are named.
  • International buyers ask whether a provider based elsewhere can serve them, which a generic prompt never tests.
  • Running the same set for each market gives a like-for-like record you can repeat.

Hypothesis That answers differ by market is widely observed but varies by platform and question; test your own prompts rather than assume.

4. How do you use the prompts?

Run each one in a fresh session on each platform, record the result, and repeat every week.

  1. Copy the prompts, or download the CSV.
  2. Run each in a fresh session on the platform you track.
  3. Record whether you were named, linked, offered as an option or not mentioned.
  4. Send the prompts to the AI answer tracker with the button above, so each week takes two minutes.

The kit does not assume which markets matter. Pick those where your buyers are.

A. How do you choose which markets to test?

Start with the places your buyers are, not the places you want to be, and add one market at a time.

  • Take markets from where your enquiries and customers come from, using your analytics and CRM.
  • Add a market you are targeting only when you have a page that serves it.
  • Test cities as well as countries when buyers search for a local provider.
  • Keep the same prompts each week so a change is the market, not the wording.

B. How can you adapt the prompts?

Replace generic words with the terms buyers in that market use, and keep one version of each prompt.

  • Use the local name for the service where buyers use a different term.
  • Add the buyer's industry or size when you serve a niche.
  • Add the currency or unit buyers think in to the cost prompt.
  • Add prompts taken from sales calls and Search Console queries, which beat any template.

Then record each result for each market in the AI answer tracker, which keeps the prompts and the weeks together.

5. Questions about local AI prompts

Short answers on markets, wording and tracking.

What is a local AI prompt?

A buyer question that names a place, such as a country or city, so an AI assistant answers for a buyer there. Testing one set of prompts per market shows where you are named and where you are not.

Which markets should I choose?

The ones your buyers search from. The kit offers six common ones and lets you add any city or region.

Do I need a brand name?

No. Without one the kit writes category prompts only. With one it adds decide-stage prompts about your brand.

Can I track the prompts weekly?

Yes. "Track these weekly" sends them to the AI answer tracker in your browser, with no upload.

Are the prompts guaranteed to match what buyers type?

No. They are a starting set. Replace or add prompts taken from sales calls and Search Console queries.

6. What can this kit not do?

It writes prompts. It does not run them, and it cannot tell you what buyers actually type.

  • It cannot run prompts or read answers from any platform.
  • It writes English prompts. Another language needs prompts written in it.
  • A market name does not set a platform's location. Record the location and signed-in state of each run.
